 "Amazing!!!" 2009-08-26
By David Schylling (Media, PA)
Amazing! These are replacing a 15 year old pair of Kenwood towers and an old Sony center/rear set. I have been listening to my regular play lists and I am amazed when each song comes on. I have been missing so much from my music this whole time! High lows, low tight bass. Very clear and crisp. They sound a lot bigger than they actually are.

I did a lot of research...reading reviews, listening to stuff in stores, etc before I finally settled on this set. Get them before they are gone. These set has been discontinued to make room for their new (and pricer) models.

My wife likes how they look. Ha. She says they are much prettier than the big old chunky Kenwood towers we had. I must say I agree with her, but the sound is the best part. I can't wait to finish breaking them in so I can really crank them up.

"Very satisfied. Not expensive but elegant." 2009-08-07
By R. Pamplona (CA, USA)
I was looking for an inexpensive system (cheaper than the high end system @ Magnolia) but will satisfy my listening pleasure whenever I wanted to watch a movie or listen to music.

I did some thorough research (amazon and third party reviews, forums, etc.), compared systems, and I ended up buying this. I matched this with Denon AVR 1910 (bought this also after a research).

Amazon might say this product is already discontinued but you can buy the units separately. The satellite speakers/center speaker is still available (look for Energy Take Classic 5 Pack 5.0 Home Theater Speaker). [...]

I am very satisfied with this purchase. The sound is awesome already even I have not performed yet the calibration in the receiver.

 "Awesome speakers" 2009-08-03
By Jasmeet S. Sehga
Hi bought Energy take classic 5.1 recently, and i must say it Rocks! This is my first home theater and i can truly say this system is worth every penny, I paid $400 for these speakers, but they sound like $1000++ speakers. These speakers are hooked up with new Onkyo Receiver SR607B. The speakers are a perfect fit with Onkyo sr607b. The system is hooked up with Samsung 52"LCD with SAmsung DVDP9 HDMI1080 dvd player. I do not watch too much Blu-Ray movies so did not want to spend alot for dvd player. The whole setup took me about 4 hours. I bought Mediabridge HDMI cables and Monster banana plugs which were a little expensive but i wanted to do it right and plugs made it very easy with the speaker wire. Altogether i spend about $1100 and i am really happy with the outcome. I would really recommend the energy take classic 5.1 and also the onkyo sr607, you can't go wrong with this ONE.

 "Great Buy!" 2009-07-13
By Ethan J. Smith (Burlington, VT)
I recently bought these speakers and I could not be happier! I actually bought the Energy Take Classic 5.0 pack from Amazon and found the same subwoofer that comes with the 5.1 from my local Costco. I ended up only spending about $[...] total, and all I can say is WOW. Money well spent. I have this system paired to an older model Sony receiver (at least 5-6 years old) and the sound is absolutely amazing! Even when you connect an iPod over a standard RCA input, the Dolby PLII provides amazing sound over this set of speakers. I also have this connected to a PS3 and a Sony KDL-46XBR4 and I love the results. Great product at a insanely low price! Thanks Energy, and Amazon for an amazing product!

 "I'm Happy!!!" 2009-06-29
By L. James (Houston, TX)
These speakers are very nice. For what I paid compared to the Klipsch set I was looking at was a steal. Even if the Klipsch set did sound a little better I would still get these. I actually like these better. The subwoofer fills my big open concept living room really nicely. I use a Onkyo TX-SR606 to drive the speakers. This is a match made in heaven. The speakers them selves are very classy and look and feel like they cost 3 times what you paid for them. If you want a low price system that sounds high end. Get these speakers.
